Last Minute Gift Idea

Have a person left on your list that already has everything?

Why not give them a gift certificate to make a donation to a small entrepreneur in the developing world.

www.kiva.org let's you pick a project that appeals to you in a country of your choice.

Kiva brings microcredit to the masses

Muhammed Yunus won the Nobel prize this year for coming up with the concept of microcredit in his native country of Bangledesh.

Microcredit may prove to be the solution for individuals in the developing world to improve their lives.

Reliance on donations has created a culture in many countries where individuals spend their lives waiting for the next handout, never able to get ahead. Microcredit allows creative people to get the startup money for their business that they would not have access to otherwise, but forces them to put their own weight behind the project as well.

Why not use that Christmas cash for some real change in the world?
